The Book of Acts is a remarkable portion of God’s Word - it’s a theological and historical masterpiece!

Can you imagine how our Christian worldview would be shaped without it?…..No record of the outpouring of God’s precious Holy Spirit; no mention of the supernatural birthing and rapid expansion of the Church; minimal recorded miraculous signs and wonders through the disciples - just some of the things that we wouldn’t have to inform our thoughts and ideas about the nature and working of God.

Luke writes this 28-chapter book as a follow-on to his first volume of work, ‘The Gospel of Luke’. Acts is the divine story of how Jesus continued to minister in the 30+ years following his resurrection and ascension. Through the giving of His Spirit, we can observe and experience Jesus’ active and dynamic ministry through the surrendered lives of everyday believers - believers like you and me.

In this season, we invite you to come with us on a journey to explore these 28 chapters over 28 days. Be encouraged to set aside time each day to pray, read and meditate on each chapter, and ask what God’s Spirit may be wanting to show you and shape in you. You may even like to do it with a friend, family member or someone from your connect group. Most importantly though, remember to do the journey with God… one of the great truths of Acts is that it’s His Holy Spirit who sovereignly reveals, guides and transforms!
